The Challenge
A German digital agency needed a way to help an automotive brand engage and educate visitors at trade shows — turning passive booth traffic into an interactive, competitive experience visitors would actually want to take part in, while giving the client real-time visibility into how each activation was performing. The end client needed to remain the only visible brand throughout the engagement, and the agency needed a delivery partner capable of building sophisticated native iOS/iPadOS apps under its own brand, with proximity and connectivity tech reliable enough for the crowded RF environment of a trade show floor.
What We Built
Native iOS/iPadOS apps built in Swift, delivered fully white-label under the agency’s brand, designed for on-site trade show tablets and kiosks. The apps run interactive quizzes and competitions that engage and educate visitors, using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and WiFi to enable near-field interactive features — proximity detection, multi-device sync, and location-aware content — for a more immersive experience than a standalone tablet app could offer. Results are reported back in real time, giving the client live visibility into visitor engagement and competition performance throughout the show. We handled the full native development, including the BLE/WiFi integration work, while the agency retained the client-facing relationship end to end.
What It Delivers
- Native iOS/iPadOS trade show apps turning booth visits into interactive quizzes and competitions
- BLE and WiFi-based proximity and connectivity features enabling immersive, near-field interactive experiences
- Real-time result reporting, giving the client live visibility into visitor engagement and performance during the show
- Fully white-label delivery — native development delivered invisibly under the client agency’s own brand
- Reusable across multiple trade show activations for the automotive brand
