Work that speaks for itself.

We do not name our clients without their permission. What we can show you is the nature of the problems we solve — and how software built with care and rigour performs in the field.

All four projects below are active partnerships. We do not just build and leave.

01

Precision Machinery

Purchasing Portal

Giving a global sourcing operation visibility, control, and a direct ERP connection.

Precision Machinery
100–150 employees, Germany
.NET / C# / Angular / SQL Server — on-premises
Sage 100 ERP (add-on)
Active partnership

The Challenge

Managing a vendor network spanning multiple countries through a combination of email, spreadsheets, and manual ERP entries is slow, error-prone, and opaque. The in-house sourcing team had no unified view of open orders, shipment status, or delivery times. Chasing updates from vendors consumed time that should have been spent on sourcing decisions. The existing Sage 100 ERP handled finance and inventory — but had no meaningful purchasing workflow. The team needed a system that extended Sage 100 capabilities without replacing it.

What We Built

A Purchasing Portal built as a structured add-on to Sage 100 ERP — extending the system's data and logic into a purpose-built interface for the sourcing team and their vendor network. Vendors access the portal to receive orders, confirm acceptance, update shipment details, and log delivery information. The sourcing team has a live view of every open order — status, location, expected arrival — without chasing a single email. Order and delivery data flows back into Sage 100, keeping finance and inventory aligned automatically. The system is hosted on-premises, consistent with the company's infrastructure setup, and designed to handle the volume and geographic spread of a global vendor base.

What It Delivers

  • Single view of all open orders, shipment status, and delivery timelines — updated by vendors directly
  • Vendor communication structured through the portal — no more order management by email
  • Sage 100 ERP stays current without manual re-entry — orders and delivery data flow back automatically
  • Sourcing team freed from status-chasing to focus on supplier relationships and cost decisions
  • Audit trail of every order, change, and delivery confirmation — accessible for finance and compliance review
02

Construction

Subcontractor Portal

Coordinating a complex project network across web, iOS, Android, and Windows.

Construction
Up to 500 employees, Germany
.NET / C# / Xamarin–MAUI / SQL Server — private cloud
Web + iOS / Android / Windows (offline-capable)
Active partnership

The Challenge

Construction projects involve a web of subcontractors, documentation obligations, and real-time coordination demands that no standard project management tool handles well. Project managers were managing subcontractor communication through email and phone. Subcontractors on site had no reliable access to current drawings, instructions, or task status — and connectivity on site could not be assumed. The business needed a system that worked for project managers in the office and for subcontractors in the field — on whatever device they had, with or without a live internet connection.

What We Built

A multi-platform Subcontractor Portal running on private cloud infrastructure, with a full-featured web application for project managers and office teams, and native iOS, Android, and Windows apps for field use. The portal connects project managers with their subcontractor network through structured task assignment, document sharing, progress updates, and a shared knowledge base covering project-specific information. Subcontractors receive, acknowledge, and update tasks directly in the app. The offline capability is a first-class feature, not an afterthought. The mobile and desktop apps are designed to work fully without connectivity — syncing automatically when a connection is available.

What It Delivers

  • Project managers and subcontractors working from a shared, structured view of tasks, documents, and progress
  • Knowledge base integrated into the workflow — relevant project information available at the point of need
  • Native apps on iOS, Android, and Windows — built with Xamarin/MAUI for consistent performance across platforms
  • Stable offline mode — full functionality without connectivity, automatic sync when back online
  • Private cloud hosting — data stays within a controlled, secure environment
  • Reduced coordination overhead for project managers; subcontractors always know what is expected of them

Jewelry Manufacturing & Retail

Mobile Kiosk App

Modernising 500+ in-store touchpoints across Europe for a large-scale jewelry manufacturer.

Jewelry Manufacturing & Retail
1,000+ employees, Hessen, Germany
500+ kiosk and store deployments across Europe
Native Swift (iOS / iPad)
Existing middleware (third-party) synced with SAP (client in-house team)
Active deployment

The Challenge

The company operated a network of over 500 in-store kiosk touchpoints across Europe, running on ageing Windows tablets. The hardware was reaching end of life, the user experience had fallen behind customer expectations, and the application needed a full rebuild for a modern platform. The project involved multiple parties: an in-house SAP team managing backend data, an existing middleware vendor handling data synchronisation, and a need for a native iPad application that could be deployed consistently at scale. The scope for exbisoft was clearly defined — the iPad application — and that clarity was an asset.

What We Built

A native iOS application in Swift, purpose-built for iPad and designed for kiosk deployment in a retail environment. The app connects to the client's existing middleware layer — which handles synchronisation with SAP — without requiring any changes to the backend or the SAP environment. Working directly with the middleware vendor, we ensured the integration was clean, well-documented, and robust enough for a 500+ device rollout. The app was designed for ease of deployment and consistency across diverse store environments across multiple European markets.

What It Delivers

  • 500+ iPad kiosks deployed across Europe — consistent experience across all locations
  • Modern native Swift application replacing end-of-life Windows tablet hardware
  • Clean integration with existing middleware — no disruption to SAP or backend infrastructure
  • Coordinated delivery across three teams (exbisoft, middleware vendor, client SAP team) without scope conflict
  • Scalable architecture — new locations added without significant additional development effort

Electrotechnology Manufacturing

Visitor Compliance App

Digitising compliance onboarding across multiple sites for a major manufacturer.

Electrotechnology Manufacturing
5,800+ employees, Germany — multiple sites
Native Swift (iOS / iPad) + custom middleware
Existing visitor management system (developed by exbisoft)
Documents, Videos, Signatures, Approvals
Active deployment — multiple locations

The Challenge

Large manufacturing sites have strict compliance requirements for every visitor — safety briefings, policy acknowledgements, regulatory documentation, and recorded approvals before anyone enters a facility. Managing this with paper-based processes or generic tools is slow, inconsistent, and difficult to audit. The client needed a system that could handle the full compliance onboarding workflow digitally — covering documentation, video briefings, digital signatures, and approval flows — and integrate with the visitor management system already in place. With multiple sites and a large annual visitor volume, reliability and auditability were non-negotiable.

What We Built

A native iPad application in Swift, paired with a custom middleware layer that connects it to the client's existing visitor management system — itself previously developed by exbisoft, giving us deep familiarity with the integration surface. The app guides visitors through a structured compliance workflow: reviewing required documents, watching mandatory safety videos, providing digital signatures, and receiving approvals — all recorded and timestamped. Completed records are stored centrally and accessible for audit across all sites at any time.

What It Delivers

  • Full compliance onboarding digitised — documents, videos, signatures, and approvals in a single guided workflow
  • Digital audit trail for every visitor at every site — accessible for compliance review at any time
  • Deployed across multiple sites — consistent process regardless of location
  • Native Swift app on iPad — reliable, responsive, and appropriate for a professional facility environment
  • Custom middleware integrates cleanly with the existing visitor management system — no rip-and-replace
  • Significant reduction in paper-based administration for site reception and compliance teams

Facing a similar challenge?

The problems above are specific — but the patterns are common. A process that has outgrown paper or legacy hardware. A team that needs to work across company boundaries. An existing system that needs extending without disruption. We would be glad to talk through your situation.
